It’s been 15 years since Nancy first asked me to organize weekly friday night sessions in her art galerie at hamburg’s central Dammtorbahnhof railway station. The concept was to invite local pros to perform when they were not otherwise engaged and the idea has worked out famously. Thousands of fans have come through the galerie doors over the years or stood patiently outside to hear the finest Jazz talent hamburg has to offer.
